led to believe. >>> good evening, everyone. i'm carolyn johnson. >> i'm dan ashley. a search will resume for a san jose tech executive and his relatives after their single-engine plane went missing yesterday. the plane is registered to a san jose man. 51-year-old dale t. sth. he is the president of a south bay data storage company called serial tech and a private pilot. smh's plane took off from baker city oregon, where he spent thanksgiving with his father. he was bound for butte, montana, to drop off relatives when somewhere over valley county, idaho, he called reporting engine problems and asked to land in a remote strip of the idaho wilderness. >> he was was talking about not being able to hold altitude. he asked for coordines to the air strip and was given the information. they didn't hear anymore from him. >> the faa has issued an alert notice for the plane and could not confirm that it crashed. smith is described as an experienced pilot. a neighbor spoke with abc 7 news a few minutes ago. >> it's a tragedy if it did go down and the fily of on the plane with him. i know
